“He didn’t tell me…” – writing prompt

“He didn’t tell me how to live; he lived & let me watch him do it.”

That quote from Clarence Budington Kelland, describing his father, describes John’s effect on my life over the past 28+ years.  Watching my decent, kind, emotionally generous husband just live the way he does uplifts enlightens inspires me.

The quality that shone forth from our first meeting is a core sense of fair mindedness.  I cannot remember him putting anyone down; if I am irked at someone, he doesn’t try to back me up by chiming in with his own slams –  a quality I treasure & seek to emulate.

Who is someone who does the same for you?

Who inspires you just by how they live, how they walk through life?  Journal about it, simply ponder & hold them in your heart, OR write them a note.  Such people are rare – would that I were one of them!  Glad beyond description to have married one.
