5

My book has taken a new direction – will still focus on the 5th Commandment as THE Sweet Spot of living well, of true prosperity, but as a running thread & a full chapter, not an entire tome.

What currently calls to be drawn out is 5, or How Barnes & Noble decreased my bank account, saved my sanity & showed me the answer to the Meaning Of Life ~ a thank you to the book stores & sources, the author-mentors & books, the audio tapes & PBS specials, the websites & podcasts that kept me upright as I sought for better emotional spiritual soul balance, that illuminate & inspire me to seek more, much more.

It still ends with the same conclusion – that what we are called to do, the thing that brings happiness & true prosperity, is honoring others for who they are, not what we want them to be, accepting them as fallible humans, neither super villains nor super heroes – not condoning, not condemning.

Clearly, the Divine recognizes that treating our parents can be a tough row to hoe because it is COMMANDED, but with a tender touch – do this & the doing of it will bring YOU happiness & well-being, which are the gifts that make life worth everything.  That’s the conclusion I came to over 42 years of delving & deep dives into human dynamics.

I did ALL this reading listening watching & THE ANSWER turns out to be something I memorized in 1st grade, something 3000+ years old – the 5th Commandment?
